Lana Vanderlee, PhD

Dr. Lana Vanderlee is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nutrition, Université Laval and a researcher at Centre NUTRISS (Nutrition, santé et société). Dr. Vanderlee holds a PhD in Public Health from University of Waterloo. Her research aims to design and evaluate population-level food and nutrition policies and interventions that address diet-related non-communicable diseases to help inform Canadian and international policy decisions. She conducts applied research with global networks of investigators to evaluate the status and impact of government and food industry policies relating to food environments. Dr. Vanderlee is currently the director of INFORMAS Canada, and co-leads the International Food Policy Study.
